Steam validating game cache stuck at 100 france womandating com
I posted on the Steam forums and got 0 response so..
I figured to post here and hope for some better luck and ideas. I decided to re-download CS: GO just because my friends were asking me to re-download the game again.
As I said, the HDD of mine that this happened on failed within 2 years and so this problem may be an indicator of a larger problem.
My HDD could have failed for any number of possible reasons, but I have no way to know.
It failed, being stuck on Queued, then "An error has occurred while updating Dot A 2.
The OS only deals with actual HDD fragmentation, which Steam has no knowledge about - for that to play a role, Steam would have to test file access times, which seems highly [email protected] Madsen Just because Steam has no knowledge of a problem does not mean the problem doesn't affect Steam and its decision to validate files.
Your statement is very informative, but doesn't necessarily mean that this is not the solution.
A little bit later, as I was about to sleep, I checked up Steam one more time, for friends etc and found that Dot A 2 had a patch. I figured this was a bit weird, so I tried to force the patch to go through and it then gave me the "An error has occurred while updating Dot A 2.
(Download Corrupt)" I kept trying to no avail, until I finally forced it through by doing the "Verify Integrity Game Cache" After doing it, it still was stuck on Queued but I forced it once or twice and the patch finished.
